This year 2023 has seen an interesting increase in visitor numbers to Clifden and The Wild Atlantic Way. It's the perfect staycation for people just wanting to chill out, whether it be for a family or couple.
There is just so much to see and do in the area that previous visitors return again and again.

Are folks really aware of the outrageous booking fees charged by most on line operators ? Well just to keep everyone up to speed they are as high as 25 % + Vat. of the total amount including cleaning !! It is common to observe such charges and indeed even higher ones levied on visitors.
They push insurance and offer "Book with Confidence" etc. etc. mostly groundless stuff with no actual benefit at all. Try putting in a claim !!
We are a fully accredited and continually listed on Failte Irelands portal 2024 \ 2025 as meeting their very exacting welcome standard for self catering cottages in Ireland.
